This was a really creepy game. I love the setting. You don't see a lot of horror games that take place during World War 1. Keep up the good work!

I really liked the design of this game, it felt very fitting for it's time. The random explosion sounds in the distance was pretty good immersion, but I did feel like the ghosts were more of a nuisance than a threat. Well done though.

I really liked playing this game and the creepy atmosphere was really done well. i was scared of running into the monster and the sounds it made urged me to hold shift down quite hard in the hope that my character would magically go even quicker when running.

However there are a few things which not so much bothered me but could still be improved a little if you was to ever revisit this project.

1. I Only found out about the existence and the posibility of hiding due to me having watched some of the streams where you made this game no warnings no hints nothing.

2. i know this is based of the scp106 young man story however for it being based of this story i would have liked to see the Hole even if it was only as a Easter egg of sorts, and there was also a quite big lack of body's/mangled carcasses(for lack of better description).

3 i could see the vision cone/light of the enemy ai earlier then i could see the actual monster/enemy this made it a little to easy to advoid for my liking. you could also easily outrun the monster i think it would have been nicer if it was a little faster to make the chases a bit more intense.

Now to end it of some things that i adored about this game.

1. Having to navigate by compass was a really nice touch and made it quite fun to try and find my way trough the trenches. it also really helped adding to the sense of urgency because you knew you needed to go southwest but not how to get there in the end making it feel unsure if you are going to get out in time.

2. the look and feel of the game is excellent i was able to immerse myself quite easily and the sound effects really made it feel as if i was in imminent danger and in the middle of a quite ferocious war.

Overall i really enjoyed it and im looking forward to the next project you are going to make.

Hello radical, and thank you for your time and feedback!
I have to make another patch, becasue game still launches steam VR if its installed, for some strange reason.
So, your points are noted now, and i will see what i can do to improve the game.

At this point, patch is necessary anyway, so why not improve the game if i have chance :D

If the atmostphere can be enhanced with more ambient musics and more enemies, this would be a be pop, however the only thing bothers me is the ending, it doesn't quite match with what was written in the original tale of "The Young Man", indeed it's still good, just need more actions and improve the atmosphere a bit. Also the song used in the game is copyrighted lol.

Thank you for playing it <3
I'll see into patching in more things.
Song is in public domain, actually.

I have to patch it once more at least anyways, since game triggers SteamVR to launch if its installed, so that needs to be fixed.
